Planning Your Event Rental with Katem Septic Solutions

To ensure your site stays clean and cost-effective, we recommend the following based on our experience with respect to Newfoundland event standards:

Standard Count: Use our intersection chart (Attendance vs. Hours).
The "Buffet" Rule: Add 15–20% more units if food/alcohol is served.
The Clean Standard: We suggest 1 sink and 1 handicap unit per every 4 standard rentals.
Peak Planning: For multi-day events, always plan for your busiest day.

CONSTRUCTION PROJECT CALCULATION

A general rule of thumb is to rent 1 portable restroom for every 10 workers during a 40-hour work week.
If operating two shifts, double your porta-potty count. (Example: 1 shift with 40 workers = 4 porta-potties; 2 shifts with 40 workers = 8 porta-potties).
If operating three shifts, triple your porta-potty count. (Example: 1 shift with 60 workers = 6 porta-potties).
